Yield: 4-6 Servings
Ingredients:
3 qts. water
4 lbs. pork ribs, cut into
serving-size portions
1 onion, quartered
2 t. salt
¼ t. pepper
½ c. vinegar
1 T. lemon juice
½ c. chili sauce
¼ c. Worcestershire sauce
2 T. onion, chopped
½ c. brown sugar, packed
½ t. dry mustard
⅛ t. garlic powder
⅛ t. cayenne
Directions:
1. Bring water to a boil in a large stockpot. Add ribs, onion, salt and pepper.
2. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1-1/2 hours. Meanwhile, combine vinegar and remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer over low heat for one hour, stirring frequently.
3. Remove ribs from pot; drain. Grill ribs for 10 minutes on each side, brushing frequently with vinegar mixture, until tender.
